Flint Garden Design was set up by Lucy Flint in early 2023 and operates throughout central Scotland. Lucy is a qualified garden designer with a HND in Garden Design (Distinction) from SRUC in Edinburgh. She is also a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers.

Lucy also has a BA Hons in Modern History from The Queen’s College, Oxford, and a Masters in Land Economy (Distinction) from the Univerity of Aberdeen. She qualified and worked as a surveryor in commerical property before raising her family then following a life long passion for plants and design to retrain as a garden designer.

Lucy has received a number of awards, these include the Chesterton Prize for best student on her course at Aberdeen, and the prize for best student in both years at SRUC. She also received ‘Best in Show 2024’ for her SRUC show garden.
